It has been a joy being here in France! In March, I went to Venice to oversee the installation of my work for Personal Structures–Beyond Boundaries. I was thrilled to work with the ECC (European Cultural Center) and went back for the opening in mid/late April which was in conjunction with La Biennale–Foreigners Everywhere. Quite simply —an extraordinary experience!
Here in Provence this Spring, we’ve witnessed major flooding and rains. In the painting above, I incorporated the concept of rejuvenation, which seems to be a common theme in my work. I hope you like it!
